2010 PNW Rendezvous - Sep 10-12, 2010

Fernie and Sunny,
You are on the list!

Kewl beans, David and Maureen,

Major congrats on the new boat. The Red Ranger would happily cruise along with Karma, though I might need a head start.

So what is the fate of Solitude? Inquiring journalistic minds yearn to know.

Cheers,

JtheK

As we approach the end of the year, (yes it is just around the corner believe it or not) the 2010 PNW Rendezvous is coming together. We have started making plans for the festivities taking cue from last year. Again, it is mainly going to be an informal affair with just a lot of socializing.

Currently we have 50 slips reserved with 25 vessels signed up. The goal is to get to 100 vessels. The marina has assured me they will squeeze every last one of us in that they have too! They are as excited as all of us.

Each vessel will be provided with the following:
A lanyard/name tag with your vessels name and your name.
A "welcome aboard" sign that you can post in a window when you would like guest (many people wanted to walk others vessels but were afraid to ask). This would indicate that others are welcome aboard to see your changes and what you have done with your vessel.
A map of the marine to assist you in finding the marine office where you will pay your moorage as well as the facilities.
A downtown map of Bremerton. This will give you an idea of the different restaurants and attractions.

So far the agenda looks like this:

Friday Night; Pot Luck, as we get closer, we will publish a list of dishes that would make up an entire meal. Each vessel will indicate which dish they would like to bring along. This will insure that we have everything from the appetizers to the dessert.

Saturday Night; Dinner will be provided by Karma. (Bob, you are in charge of the Margarita's though........)

Breakfast each morning will once again consist of Muffins, coffee, and juice starting at 7:00 am on the dock.

We are currently looking at a Saturday Afternoon activity to involve all vessels. We will also arrange with a photographer again to have a photo shoot.

Sunday everyone will depart at their leisure (or as with 2009 some may choose to stay another evening).

I have attached the updated list of all those that have expressed their interest in attending the 2010 Rendezvous below. If I have inadvertently misspelled or placed the wrong information, please let me know so I can correct it.
Any vessel can arrive earlier than Friday and remain beyond Sunday. Karma will be arriving on Saturday the 4th.

Sparky and I could drive one of your factory boats to the show!
That would be even better than our help in Stuart last year.

I probably still have the track in my old GPS, not like we need it to get to Bremerton.

Joe

The SOUNDINGS has a picture of the Rangers, I assume taken from the bridge mentioned. The picture is on page 3 if the mind is right.

1) Joe and Monika (the infamous Sparky), Starry Night, R-25, Coming from VA

Just bringing this to the front and to remind everyone of the "Half Way to the Rendezvous Cruise" in March. It seems that the choice right now is Bell Harbor however this can change with the number of vessels that sign up. Another destination that was suggested was Blake Island. However as most of you know, Blake takes no reservations and has very limited space.
