So, I don't have alot of opportunity to post on Tugnuts but decided it was time to post my two cents worth as well. This week while cruising the Puget Sound we had the opportunity to spend some time with John and Laurie Gray. Laurie and I started talking about the 2010 Rendevous and fun activities we could do. Laurie recommended putting together a recipe book with everyone's favorite "fix on the boat" or "bring to the boat" recipes. I thought it was a great idea. I am willing to compile all of the recipes and "publish them" in our own Ranger Tug Owner's cookbook. Everyone that attends the 2010 Rendevous will automatically receive a copy. It can't get better than that. (If you are unable to attend the Rendevouz but would like a copy I can mail one to you.) So calling all cooks, I need your recipes. Simply submit your recipe via email to KarmaR29@aol.com. I will post reminders periodically and provide a deadline as we get closer. I look forward to hearing from everyone!

Happy New Year
Maureen 😀

Great idea Maureen... imagine there's some great cooks out there that I can learn from!!! Happy New Years from Zuma to the rest of the TugNut family!

Hey! How we going to get to 110 tugs if we don't get more people signing up! Come on now, we had a great time last year! So much fun in fact we already have more people signed up than what showed up last year. Joe and Sparky (Monica) are coming from Virginia. Not bringing their tug but still attending!

Even if you are just tentative, let me know and we will add you to the list. I realize September is eight months away but remember, Christmas is only 349 days away........ time for the retailers to get their decorations up.....

My wife and I are seriously considering attending the gathering but do not have all our plans in place for next summer yet. We already know that in June and July we are going east for an RV rally and to ride our motorcycles in the mountains of North Georgia and North Carolina. Later in the summer we plan to take John's Folly and travel up the Columbia River from Portland to Lewiston, Idaho with Marie's sister and brother and law. They have a 28 foot bayliner. Have not determined if that leaves time to go up north but you can put us on your list as "tentative". Sounds like the rendezvous coould be a lot of fun. Would be nice to meet some of the other "Tugnuts".

Patrick,
You just did! It was that simple! Is the name of your vessel "That's It"? Will you be attending alone? If not, what are the names of your guests?

Thank you!

Nothing like a little advance planning, eh?

Linda & I are planning to head back up to Alaska this summer, but we do expect to be back in time to attend. Put us on the list please!

Mac,
Yeah you know how it is with some of us...... We plan everything as early as possible. Don't know if it is a fault or a benefit. Anyhow, you are added to the list.

When do you plan to head north? Capt. D talked of taking the Lucky Fin north this year.

With the addition of Mac and Linda, we are now at 34!

See you on the water

Hello all, we are now the proud owners of the "Adventurer", a 2010 Claret Red R-25 that will be home ported in Anacortes, WA later this spring. We will be relocating there from Anchorage and are looking forward to meeting, and hopefully cruising with many of you folks. Also, many thanks to "Ranger Jeff" and the folks at Ranger Tugs who worked with us to make this dream come true. Please add our names to the 2010 PNW Rendezvous.

2) John and Laurie, Laurie Ann, R-25

For the Tugnutters who are paying attention to the changes in this list, the Laurie Ann has changed categories because the tug is going to South Carolina in April to re-start the Great Circle Loop; May-June will be the ICW in Virginia and Maryland, New York City, the Hudson River and to the Erie Canal. July and August will be the Great Lakes and Canadian Waters. At rendezvous time, the tug will be in the Chicago/St. Louis area.

We intend to fly back to PNW to see the family and be in Bremerton for the gathering; tug-less but present. During the fall, we will store the tug and trailer on land in the Southeast as we come home for the holidays and then resume the trip in Florida and the Bahamas in January-February-March, then bring her back home.

John and Laurie,
You will not be "Tugless in Seattle". You have a great number of friends in this group that will make sure that you have a "tug" to "hang on". Feel free to join Maureen and I aboard Karma for drinks, cruises, etc. etc. etc.

You know, with the success of the movie "Sleepless in Seattle" (which also involved a boat of sorts), maybe you should see what Tom Hanks is up too....... do I see a sequel on the horizon?

Please add us to the list of attendees to the Rendezvous this September. We put a deposit on a Ranger 25 SC at the SBS and should take delivery in May or June. I would also like to attend the diesel seminar if possible. Thank you.
