2013 Mini-Cruise to Fisherman's Terminal - Seattle

Robyn and I expect to attend, also.

Robyn and Joe,
You have been added to the attendees list, welcome. Its going to be a chore to get all the required gifts for the drawing. That's 19 at this point, I better get busy.
Bob

This is just an afterthought. If you are a future boat owner and are looking at the Ranger Tugs. Join us at Fisherman's Terminal and talk to the current owners and get some tours on the fleet. You don't have to own a boat, you can just walk in.
Bob

Karie and I would love to attend as well.

Marcus

Marcus,
You have been added to the list, looking forward to seeing you there.
Bob and Nita

Thanks for getting us going on this, Bob and Nita, and what a group so far!

You put in lots of work last year including driving your car and your boat to Seattle, providing transportation off-site, gathering wonderful donations, providing an information packet on famous homes on Lake Washington, helping those of us that needed help through the Ballard Locks, and already this year we are almost double in size and it is only December!

How about we divide up some of the work? I plan to return in April from San Diego so am happy to commit to contacting a few retailers for donations (although I cannot promise the caliber of gifts you provided us with last year!)

Bob & Nita:

I will step up as Anne has done and offer my help in any way you want for reducing the workload for arranging the Fisherman's Terminal meeting etc. Please let me know how I can help.

Maybe some of last years material can be reused but I'm sure there are new things need doing.

As you're up in Anacortes and I'm just a few miles north of the Terminal I'm quite happy to make the short drive down to the Terminal ahead of time to help setup things on the dock.

For some people not familiar with Fisherman's Terminal maybe a map picture outlining where the reserved dock/slips are located would be useful for them. I could print these up for example.

What technique did you use in securing those wonderful gifts given out last year ? Did you use personal contacts for example ?

Of course it's difficult to surpass what David & Maureen do getting food to all of us.

I know Ranger did not participate last year so I'm wondering if that will be the same next year! Would it make sense to contact Garmin, Yanmar, RayMarine or other boat vendors (retail merchandise and maintenance ones) to see if they might be on hand for Tugnuts to chat with etc.

Let me know how I can help in the planning.

-Barry

greetings all, albeit not quite a Ranger Tug owner yet I will take possession of our R-27 in the March 2013 timeframe and would like to throw my hat in the ring as well, please add us to the roster and we look forward to making new friends at Memorial day weekend.

We now have 21 boats that have asked to be put on the list of participants. I talked to Ray at Fisherman's Terminal and he thinks they can handle about 30 boats but some would have to be rafted off without power. Fisherman's Terminal is a working marina so it is hard for them to commit to the number of slips we may need. With this in mind, Nita and I think we should limit the number of boats to 25. So if you are interested in joining us I would recommend you let us know ASAP so we can reserve a space. Also, if anyone is not going to attend who is on the list, please let me know. I will reassign the slip to someone else on the list of those wishing to attend according to their sign-up-date.

We are going to have some great gifts for the drawing with so far the maximum value of $150.00 and maybe higher. I have contacted 12 possible donors so far and most have committed to donate.

WOW! What an event this is becoming and what a way to start the boating season. My thanks to David and Maureen Baker for creating this event.

Bob

Rafting is not a bad thing...ask Jake and Brenna, they love it.

Please add Chameleon to the list of attendees.
