You might think about when you will arrive and leave, we will eventually need to supply this information to Fisherman's terminal. Again, if anyone would like help through the locks, we are available. Just let us know.
Happy New Year,
Bob and Nita

Bob,
You have Y Knot on the list twice. I sent you a PM about help with the locks and you put me down again. I guess we are going to have twice as much fun! Really looking forward to meeting all of you.
Rick and Becky

I just want to make sure I get two tries in case I crash you on the first. Boy, that ought to give you some encouragement.
All the best, the paperwork has been corrected.
Bob

Do you have a date for when we'd be meeting at the locks? We're interested but it's at least a couple of days to get from Sidney B.C. and through Customs etc. Plse let us know. We're interested.

Roman and Deb,
Nita and I will be going down early and we will bring a car. There is not a single time or day when people will be arriving so it could be a matter of a few days. We will be available to meet anyone who would like help going through the locks. We are planning on meeting at Shilshole Bay Marine on your arrival and then going through. (More details will be available once we get closer to the time frame.) Memorial Day is a big holiday in the states so there will be a large number of attendants to assist us at the locks. Additionally, there will be few boats going in our direction as most of the boats will be going out to enjoy the sound. This is truly a good time for this event inside the locks.

Bob

Bob & Nita: Does the Fisherman's Terminal still have the no drinking alcohol on the docks.... 😉 Last year when at the meeting I asked several bone fide fishermen how they deal with this and they did have a solution...

Per the Marina management you may consume your favorite beverage on the docks if you use a discrete container like a coffee cup or paper cup.
Bob

Tim and Kim,
Your name has been added back on to the attendees list. I don't know how it was erased.
Bob

Put us on the list, though we may just walk over from our slip at Shilshole as we did last year.

Well, here is the list so far for the Fisherman's Terminal mini-cruise over Memorial Day weekend.

Please check below and make sure your name is on the list. If anyone else would like to sign up, please let us know and we will put your name on a backup list. As it stands right now, Fisherman's has guaranteed 25 spaces and some may have to share power. Once we get closer to the date, we will know whether Fisherman's can handle additional boats.

We are still working with vendors for prizes for our drawing and the response has been very good. Our goal is to have a prize for everyone in the drawing, but it may not happen. We are working hard!!!!

Tracking this post and watching this group organize for what will obviously be a great gathering of friends and boats makes it extra hard not to have a boat right now, and not to have it in the Puget Sound . . . . (sigh).

I look forward to seeing the pictures and reading the stories!

Gin,
You don't need a boat to join us, just come we would love to have you. It is an opportunity to meet the boat owners and have a tour of the boats and see changes they have made. We will be sharing some meals on the dock with liquid refreshments (in discrete containers). You can contact me at (360) 293-0003 for additional information.
Bob

I don't mean to keep posting on this subject but I just want everyone to know that they are welcome to join us at Fisherman's Terminal as walk-ins and meet the fabulous group of owners and see the boats.
Bob

Bob, don't know why I didn't realize that one could come "boatless," but the thought hadn't occurred to me. Might be a possibility for us! As the date gets closer, I will call you if we think we can get away and join the group. Is there a time when it would be too late to join in?

For sure, we would love it! What a great opportunity to meet Ranger Tug owners (I confess -- I feel like I already know some of you). And an equally great opportunity to see the boats and how folks have modified and set them up. Sharing some food and drink (discretely) at the dock would be all the better. Thanks for the invite!

Got some good news, Capt Mac and Linda will be joining us at Fisherman's Terminal for the mini-cruise over Memorial Day weekend. We are very excited they have decided to join us.

Nita and I have been very busy securing drawing items for the cruise including, but not limited to $10.00 discount certificates for the first night for everyone. We have many vendors in the area who have been more than generous in giving us free meal certificates (up to $100.00) and merchandise for our drawing (value up to $150.00). Fisherman's has assured me that they can accommodate as many of the Tugnuts (Ranger and Cutwaters) who would like to attend along with our friends who previously had Rangers and have moved on to other brands to suit their unique needs but may require to berth on adjoining docks.

We will not have enough items for everyone but will secure as many as we can to make this a special even.

Anyone who would like assistance with the locks, we will send additional information before the event.

Bob and Nita

You two rock. Looking forward to our gathering.

Cheers,

Bruce

After Bob mentioned the possibility, we were hoping we might be able to make the trip up there from Oregon that weekend, even though we would be boatless for the gathering. Turns out that we have to be at a wedding that Sunday, with a rehearsal on Saturday. I'm disappointed . . . . and the more I read about the gathering, the more disappointed I feel.

Bob & Nita... way to go.... the number of boats is growing in leaps and bounds... way up from last year. If you need any pre-meeting help let me know. Fisherman's is but a 20 min drive for me from Edmonds.

On a positive note... the operations people at Fisherman's are really the most friendly Marina people I've come across.

Glad to read Capt Mac & Linda are attending... as they have their new 2013 R27 fully spec-ed out I'll be very interested in seeing all of it... and maybe hear about all the prep for their Sea of Cortez cruising. 😱

Now don't be stealing Capt. Mac away before he finishes our orientation on Friday in our 27.
