PNW 2011 Ranger Rendezvous - single topic

Barry,
I know you are looking for a more up to date list however, there was a list posted on July 8th. You can find it on page three of this thread.

Hope that helps!

Also, anyone that has not expressed their interest in coming yet are planning to or, if your plans have changed and you are not going to be able to make it, please post your intentions. I have ordered the food for Friday nights dinner. Right now, we have enough food for 150 people. If we need more or less, I can still make changes.

Along with Friday night dinner, I have also ordered breakfast treats. Again, we don't want to run out but at the same time, we don't want to have way more than we need. If that is the case, I am going to open a Weight Watchers Franchise to assist everyone with their diet plans after you eat all of the food.......... we do not want to see any go to waste..... just your "waist"!

Thanks,
David

TINA AND I WERE RECENTLY TALKING ABOUT ALL THE GREAT BOOKS WE HAVE READ WHILE CRUISING-- NAUTICAL AND OTHERWISE.. WE WERE THINKING THAT MAYBED WE COULD HAVE A BOOK/DVD TABLE WHERE ALL THE TUGNUTS COULD SHARE THEIR READING AND WATCHING MATERIAL.. JUST A THOUGHT--- STEVEANDTINA 😀 😀

Bob and Kate will be attending the 2011 Rendezvous on Friday and Saturday nights so we will need reservations for a moorage slip. It appears our 29 Ranger will be delivered earilier than expected giving us the opportunity join by water rather than land.

Please confirm we will have a slip for the two nights - thank you so much!

Jim & Buzzy Callard of Carpe Diem, Bob & Kate Richman of Bobkat, Gary & Rosalie Willaimson of Harbor Ranger, Cal Smith of Misty Blue, Thom & Lorry Wagner of Thoms Tug, and Jay Culley of Zenyatta - you are officially on the list now.

Welcome and look forward to meeting you at the Rendezvous! Once your registration is sent to Kathy Wilson (see other thread for downloading that form), that's all you need to do for now.

To all boaters coming to the Rendezvous (with or without their boats): Specific arrival instructions will be on this forum closer to Sept. 8 as well as more details about the agenda. You do NOT need to contact the Bremerton Marina. They are expecting LOTS of boats and will have room for everyone. We're finalizing the details and recounting how many actual people and boats will be coming. All I can say is WOW!

IF you are no longer able to join us, please let me know and IF you haven't sent in your registration to Kathy, please do so as soon as possible. As David said, we want to have enough food and supplies for everyone coming to this event.

GREAT idea Steve and Tina about a DVD/Book table at the Rendezvous -

So to all of those attending the Rendezvous, put your name in your books if you want to keep them and just share, or if you want to be part of a "book swap", bring what you've liked and want to pass on.

Let's plan on this being available on Friday - which we've designated as "Owner's Sharing Day".

Laurie

We are trying to put together the plan to be there for the 2011 rendezvous. If it can be worked out, could the powers that be get us parked for the shortest walk to shore. Hate to miss one of these shindigs. We are both healing up from some minor injuries. Should be in shape by then.

If we can make it, You can put us down for the Bahamas and or Keys travel log. Maybe we could talk some of you Tugnuts into some warmer water. LOL.

Darrell and Dee,
So glad to hear you guys are going to try to make it. While I am not in charge of this Rendezvous, I will assure you we can get you tied up right next to the gang way. Just remember, there is a very strong current in that location and it is a long walk out to the activities area. Maybe we should look at getting you two thirds of the way to the gang way. You let us know and we will park you wherever you want!

Russ and Toni on Traveler will be sending in our attendance form in the next few days. Is there a link to the form?

Captain D and Miss Dee - of course we have room for you and will make sure you get a "good" spot. And we'll put you down for some warm weather places to go and stories to tell on Friday's schedule.

Sure hope you make it!!

Laurie

Hello!
The Salt Spring Island contingent will be arriving in Bremerton on Thursday afternoon. This will be Patrick and Gail Beattie on "That's It," Kim and Karen Laidlaw on "Nest Egg," and Allan and Yvonne Bogutz on "Stout." Will reservations be made for our arrival? We are 25, 27 and 25 respectively, length not age.

Salt Spring now has FIVE Ranger Tugs, probably the largest concentration per square mile anywhere.

We are looking forward to the trip and the Rendezvous.

Well, not so fast... we have three R25s, one R27 and one R29 at our Edmonds Marina at this time. 😀

I would say Barry is calling your bluff and the way I see it, three R-25's, one R-27, and one R-29 beats out a pair of R-25's and one R-27.... and what were the other two Rangers..... not showing all of your boats are you........ sneaky!

I'm not getting into the discussion of "most Ranger Tugs/sq mile" . . . . but I will say that ALL Ranger Tugs that are coming to the Rendezvous will have a place on the guest dock - somewhere. Watch for specific information about arrival instructions on this forum in a week or so. Generally - we'll have the R-29's on the finger piers, the R-25's on the breakwater, and the R-21's here and there as we have space. It's going to be tight and cozy, but there will be room for all of you.

Laurie

Stout, That's It, and Nest Egg, Thank you for letting us know you are coming, we look forward to seeing you, have a safe trip down.

Well, Des Moines has 2 R29's (3 R29's when Karma moves in this spring), 2 R25's and one R21. David, did I add those up correctly?

Des Moines

You are right Gene, a pair of R-29's as well as a pair of R-25's along with a single R-21 certainly is the high hand! And once Karma ends up in Des Moines this spring it will be three R-29's in Des Moines. It seems Des Moines has the high hand right now......

Salt Spring Tugs are 3 25's, 1 29 and a 27....I might wager that we have the most Rangers per square mile based on residence of the owners......but I could be wrong!!!
